3.- Do I have to go through quarantine if I come from another country to Sitges?
Travelers from the rest of the European Union (EU) are allowed without quarantine requirements.

4.- Do the Coronavirus in Sitges and Tourism force you to pass an access control to come to Sitges?
All passengers coming from outside of the Spanish territory who arrive by air or sea must fill out a public health form electronically before starting their trip. This form can be found in the SPAIN TRAVEL HEALTH-SpTH application (Android and Apple). Once finished, you will obtain a QR code that you must present upon arrival in the country. All companies or agents that trade with and sell tickets must inform passengers at the beginning of the ticket sale process of the obligation to present the mentioned public health form at the airport or port of destination.
Passengers arriving by air or sea must pass a sanitary check before entering the country. These controls include: a documentary control, a visual control of the passenger's condition and a temperature control that will be carried out routinely on all passengers to identify those with a temperature of 37.5ºC or higher. Passengers who based on the controls, or the public health form, present a suspicious result of having COVID-19 or other contagious pathologies, will be subjected to a new health assessment to determine if they could be a risk to public health. If confirmed, the health alert protocols will be activated to send you to a health center.

To date, all establishments and services in Sitges are open (bars, restaurants, hotels, shops, services ...)
Most of them require a reservation because of safety reasons and to avoid infections, there is limited capacity due to the established safety distances between people of 1.5m.
The latest regulations (September 26th), limit to 6 people per table in restaurants, bars and terraces and always maintaining the minimum distance between tables. Social meetings in public and private spaces are also limited to a maximum of 6 people

The established safety distance between people anywhere is 1.5m.
Regulations as of August 28th: meetings and encounters of more than 10 people in the private sphere and in the public sphere are prohibited. It remains outside this prohibition as long as the safety indications approved by PROCICAT are complied with: work activities, worship activities and religious acts, public transport, cultural activities, performing arts and music, cinema or exhibitions, recreational activities such as amusement parks or playgrounds, sports activities such as outdoor swimming pools, gyms or sports facilities, opening of libraries, archives, museums and monuments.
7.- May I go to the beach in Sitges this summer 2020?
The beaches in Sitges are open but have a controlled capacity. It is recommended to check the capacity of the beach before leaving. When a beach reaches 100% of the allowed capacity, it is recommended to go to a less crowded beach.
Sitges has 17 km of coastline with beaches to avoid crowds and enjoy beach time with tranquility and security.

8.- Nightlife in Sitges and covid

The Government of Catalonia, on July 24th, orders, as a measure of prevention of infections by covid, the closure of clubs/discos, dance halls, pubs and any establishment with a license for a party room with a show in all Catalonia. It also establishes that gambling halls, casinos and bingo halls throughout Catalonia must close at 00:00h. Currently, in Sitges discos have not opened since the covid-19 pandemic and nightlife in Sitges continues with the prevention measures established against the covid-19, so bars, restaurants, terraces, beach bars ... are open with the established sanitary measures, safety distances and limited capacity. Only the establishments with a Casino license in Sitges are obliged to close at 00:00h
* From August 18th, a new health regulation forces all establishments (leisure and restaurants) to close at 1:00 am.
In the Calle del Pecado in Sitges (Primero de Mayo street), a national benchmark for nightlife, has during weekend nights established an access controled through private security guards, circulation in only one way in order to maintain safety distances, a temperature control to access and the mandatory use of the mask (mask that is mandatory in all Sitges, indoors and outdoors, see section about the mandatory use of the mask).
